- Discuss the history of ethical framework for organ donation.
- State the ethical arguments against markets.
- Explain what constitutes surrogate consent for organ donation.
- Compare surrogate consent with other types of consent.
- Analyze outcomes of various immunosuppressive regimens in solid organ and islet cell transplantation.
- Discuss the potential benefit of utilizing induction immunosuppression in order to minimize long-term exposure to immunosuppressive agents.
- Explain how to adapt immunosuppressive regimens to arising contingencies such as rejection, toxicity, infection and the treatment of non-traditional rejection.
- Review novel uses for establishing agents and compare these results with promising new agents in the pipeline.
